About
I am a dental hygienist and public health researcher with over 10 years of clinical and community-based experience in periodontal therapy, preventive dentistry, and oral health education. My work spans hospital, academic, and community settings across the Middle East, with a strong focus on improving oral health outcomes through evidence-based interventions.

I am currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Global Public Health (Precision Health) at the American University in Cairo, where my research focuses on school-based oral health interventions and their impact on periodontal health among adolescents. My research interests include periodontal disease prevention, health behavior change, oral health inequalities, and the integration of precision health approaches into community dentistry.

I have extensive experience in scaling and root planing, periodontal maintenance, infection control, and clinical supervision, in addition to teaching and mentoring dental hygiene students. I am particularly interested in translating clinical knowledge into population-level impact through public health programs and research.

My long-term goal is to contribute to advancing preventive oral health strategies and developing innovative, data-driven approaches for early detection and management of periodontal diseases.
